My students need more hands-on centers in where they can use all parts of their bodies to learn. OSMO is one tool that I can use in the classroom to increase vocabulary, reading/writing fluency, number knowledge.
My kindergarten's students come with a wide range of academic needs. The majority of my students are significantly below grade level and they come from low socioeconomic families. This is why it is hard to have all the necessary materials used in the classroom. In order to expose them to different places and experiences outside the walls of the classroom, the materials needed are important.
Our school wants to improve the life of our students by giving them the necessary tools to be successful and stay at school.
They need to learn about different cultures, places, and have different experiences to improve their vocabulary, language acquisition, Science and mathematical's skills.
In Kindergarten, the learning occurs using a lot of different means to help the students learn the concepts in different ways. Singing, dancing, reading, clapping, technology, and exercises are some of the things used daily to acquire knowledge. On this era, the students are so attached to the technology that it can be used to facilitate and review the concepts that had been taught in class.
The OSMO System will provide the Tech Students with tools to review and practice concepts of letter knowledge, writing, number knowledge, addition/subtraction, among others in a engaging way!
The students are going to be learning without noticing.
