I have the privilege of teaching a wide variety of young minds! I have gifted and talented learners, English as a Second Language Learners and exceptional students ranging from ages kindergarten to fifth grade! I consider it a blessing to work with each and every one of my students every single day and am thankful to call this my job!
I learn so much from my students.
Each young mind that enters my room has an effect on me and makes me both a better teacher and a better person. I consider it my lifelong goal to work each school year to make a positive and long-lasting effect on each of my students and to ensure that they have the best experience in STEM lab they possibly can!
My Project
I have the incredible privilege of teaching students from the ages of five to eleven! They LOVE coding and learning about different types of technology and I absolutely love watching their smart minds problem solve problems and learn to be twenty first century thinkers using technology and hands on materials. I want to provide them with the absolute best materials to continue fostering their love of learning!
My students LOVE Dot the Robot.
I would love to provide them with the opportunity to learn how to work with Dot's friend, Dash! My students were so excited to work with Dot, I cannot imagine how excited they would be to work with Dash! They also love working with our We-Do coding legos- I would love to provide them the opportunity to work with Magna Tiles to continue improving their engineering skills as well as helping them to become innovative problem solvers. The concept of magnetism can also be implemented with the Magna Tiles. Dash and Magna Tiles are the perfect combination to complete our MakerSpace work station!
