I have landed in a new classroom this year and was not able to bring anything with me from my prior school. Things that were readily available are not in my new location. I will not have books in my library for next year since the books I have are on loan from another teacher. I know that good books in the classroom will help my students immensely . I also found that when I took over his classroom that we lack math supplies to help us conceptualize different math concepts. My budget is very low since my school is a charter school and in the growing stages. You would be helping a school that needs the same tools that other students across the valley have already in place. My classroom is also lacking technology and I plan to set up some projects to help bring in devices in order to expose my students to technology even more. Your donations are greatly appreciated!
My Project
I have served on many grade levels and having a an easel in the classroom is an essential part of creating a path of teaching as we learn. Anchor charts are a great way to create tools to refer back to those moments notice and can be posted on the wall using Post-it chart paper. The easel I’m requesting has a great way of helping us hold the paper as well as writing directly on it’s white board that is magnetic on both sides! Life with an easel is so much easier during read aloud‘s and math lessons! Make me a happy teacher again!
