I work with an amazing group of children who are eager to learn. I enjoy seeing the excitement in their eyes when we get ready to complete a science lab. My students come from diverse backgrounds which make them unique. Many of my students come from low-income families; however, they are the best kids on the planet.
My Project
I have designed a unit called All About Matter. It will be about our physical world. Matter is everything that takes up space and has mass. For this project, my students need material to make slime.
The glue,Borax, food coloring, and clay which I requested will allow us to make slime.
This will serve as a wonderful teaching tool for concepts like scientific method and hypothesis. This will be a very exciting, ooey gooey experiment for my students! My goal is to have students teach the class and create their own slime recipe.
Your help will ensure that my students have the opportunity to truly understand chemistry. With these resources, students will begin to enjoy science and want to learn more about the subject matter.
