My Students

My students rock and blow my mind with the amazing work ethic that they come in with everyday. They take charge of their own learning by choosing to practice skills that they want to improve and my job is to give them the support and rigor they need to achieve that next level of success.

I would love to help my students with their number sense (not just automatic facts) so that they can have a deeper understanding of mathematical relations in the future!

My Project

If my students develop the skills to manipulate numbers and improve their fluency, this will create a strong foundation for higher level math concepts! You could consider fluency and number sense as the building blocks to math. Instead of just memorizing their facts, I want my students to be problem solvers and to use their prior knowledge of numbers to come up with solutions.

When a child has a strong foundation, we set them up for success in the future.

I want my kids to be able to build up their fluency and along with that their confidence in mathematics!
