Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
With a classroom full of vibrant 8-9 year olds, it's hard to not want to come to work everyday. My students love to learn and are always wanting more out of the school day. They are also great artist. They are always drawing and wanting to create something.
These kids love making others laugh and they bring a smile to everyone's face.
They enjoy helping each other and making sure everyone is happy in class. They also love a good dance party on a Friday afternoon.
My Project
My students love all types of art. They are always using their free time to draw a picture for someone in class or an adult on campus. They know their art is priceless and love the look someone gets when they see their masterpieces.
My students would rather use their recess time to draw and color than run around.
They aspire to be artists and love the idea of our classroom being their art gallery. They love to write and the illustrations to their writings are always their favorite part. Students will be able to use more medias to create different pieces of art. They will be able to experience all types of kinds of art medias in class and before out art museum trip!
