My Students

Welcome to ERR Level II at my school. These students are amazing, hardworking freshmen, sophomores and juniors with a variety of abilities. Regardless of capability, they are truly a team. The more ambulatory students provide help and support to the students who have physical disabilities. They celebrate each other’s successes. They reach out to help each other. The students also share time with their general education friends.

In my class, students with varying abilities are learning life skills academics including math and language arts at their instructional level and pre-vocational job training through practical applications.

My students are curious, enthusiastic, and creative. They are most successful with hands-on learning including computers and visual learning. Learning is their number one priority and it is a no fail zone!

My Project

I am a Special Education teacher teaching students at the high school level. One of the challenges I face is to provide rich, meaningful, and creative instruction to a variety of students with different learning styles, behaviors and abilities. I believe using IXL will provide my students with hands-on and visually pleasing instruction.

IXL provides math and language arts instruction from K to 12.

IXL gathers data on each student including strengths and areas the student needs additional support in. IXL helps learners develop the academic and communication skills needed for success in school and beyond.
