Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My students come from a very diverse set of homes with some with access to a variety of technology and many with access to nothing at home.
I have many students that have a desire to further what they are learning in the classroom and a desire to try new things.
I would like to give my students the opportunity to show their creativity through projects. Many of my students need ways to be able to access the information they need.
My Project
At the end of the year, my students work on projects to show what they’ve learned throughout the year. The projects incorporate concepts that they have learned throughout the year. They get to use their creativity and what they’ve learned to create these projects. However, sometimes they need to do a little research throughout the projects and the Chromebooks would greatly help their research. The Chromebooks would give my students the mobile flexibility to do the research as they’re working on these projects. Access to these chrome books would also Allow the students to extend and elaborate on the concept that they have learned.
