My students need mailboxes to organize graded work to send home, file folder labels to label the boxes, a sorter to sort papers, and folder holders for Friday folders.

My Students

In order to run a well organized 1st grade classroom, my students needs mailboxes to collect all graded work and a place to file stamped and completed work.

My students attend Charles Helmers Elementary a public school in California.

Helmers is nestled in a quiet neighborhood near a public park. The students are in 1st grade and come to school daily eager to learn. They have extremely supportive parents who are willing to donate to our classroom, as well.

My Project

I am requesting mailboxes, labels, and sorters to quickly organize student work in an efficient manner in order for me to use as much classroom time for instruction. Students will be able to file their graded/checked work and easily remove it from their assigned mail slot.

This project is important to optimize classroom instruction time by creating an organized way to disperse graded work.

It will be able to be in place all year and will give me more time to plan lessons rather than pass out papers.
