Many of my students come from low-income environments. Many don't know where their next meal is coming from. But, when they are in school I want them to have every opportunity to achieve the basic skills to help prepare them for their future. The majority of my students are happy to be at school and are willing to learn.
I want them to have the tools to be successful in their learning.
With remote learning and in-person learning last year, some students have fallen behind. I want to give them any extra advantage now to help with their learning.
I want school to be a positive experience for our children and to be a great place for them to come to every day!
My Project
These manipulatives will help my students to learn their math facts. These can be used at school and online if we need to do remote learning. The other manipulatives will help my students learn place value by using the visual reminder for place value.
These work baskets will focus on math skills, reading skills, and life skills for my students.
The shoeboxes will be used to create more work baskets to work on skills that my students need to master.
These manipulatives will expose students to different ways of learning.
