At Lab, we empower our students with the skills and mindset they need to grow into the thinkers, creators and innovators of tomorrow. This project aims to support our diverse group of second grade students by providing them with the materials they need to be successful in math!
My Project
Our second grade students need math manipulatives to help them with abstract math concepts. The place value blocks, ten frames, clock, and various math posters that will help them with understanding certain concepts in math.
Our second graders are resilient and deserve the best environment for learning math!
The manipulatives and visual supports will help them to understand the how and why of math and experience the math. It's important that students who need it be able to interact with the math to support their learning. The hands on manipulatives make learning math more fun!
