My students need a storage center and storage bins for easy access to math manipulatives.
This project expired on December 20, 2014.
Hooray! This project is fully funded
My students need to have easy access to their math manipulatives so each child is in charge of their own learning.
My students are an inquisitive group of second graders that are excited to learn!
My second-grade classroom is located in an urban community with the vast majority of students qualifying for free or reduced-price lunches. We have a diverse community of students with a high number of English Language Learners. As with many California districts, our school is facing budget cuts making it difficult to provide these students with the supplies they deserve.
I am requesting a storage cubby and storage bins for the children. I would like to better organize their math supplies so that children can spend more time solving the problem and less time trying to find materials. We are fortunate to have manipulatives, but we need a place to store them.
I am lucky to have a classroom of excited learners that I can teach to take control of their learning and introduce to the wonderful world of education and organization!
