Magnets Galore!

My students need hands-on science and engineering kits. I'm looking to supply my students with magnet sets and building logs to help them learn in an engaging hands-on way.

My Students

My students are enthusiastic, hard-working, and happy kids. I have a wide range of reading levels among my students, but I see a determination to learn in each and every one of them. I have an A.M. and a P.M. class. All of my students take on new things with excitement and joy.

My students love to share stories with me and other students.

I love to see them make friends and grow in their learning.

I love my team of kindergarteners!

My Project

Right now my students have close to zero hands-on science kits. I want to teach my students about magnets and building in ways other than worksheets. These kits(Fun With Magnets, STEM Magnets! Activity Sets, and Oak Creek Lodge) will enrich their understanding and enthusiasm for science.

I remember playing with science kits when I was in kindergarten, and it made the difference between me loving science and just tolerating it.

I am a first-year teacher so I don't have nearly as many supplies as I feel my students need. I hope that DonorsChoose.org can help me get the supplies that will really help my student love learning.
