My Students

We LOVE teaching third graders! Oh, what a VERY curious and fun age! Our students are like sponges, absorbing information about each topic we study! Providing enriching, "out of the box" experiences is paramount for expanding their horizons and providing hands-on learning! We are a charter school, so our students come from all over the county, with several driving up to 30 minutes! Because of this, we have a beautiful diversity of students with various economic, cultural and enriching backgrounds!

Being a Leader in Me school, we focus on building tomorrow's leaders!

STEM is a HUGE part of building leaders, thus we are a STEM focused school! We LOVE and know the significance of bringing HANDS-ON learning experiences to our students! Thus, this is the focus of this project, which will benefit our entire third grade!

My Project

STEM stands for Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics. STEM is an essential part of EVERY child's education, for it pervades every part of our lives! The STEM items I chose provide hands-on and minds-on experiences that directly correlate with our Grade 3 SEEd units! Please help us BUILD the resources we need for every third grader at our school to help create critical thinkers, increase science literacy, and enable and PROPEL the next generation of innovators! By exposing our students to STEM and giving them opportunities to explore STEM-related concepts, they will develop a passion for it!
