My students need an outdoor magnet activity center! This center will not only provide opportunities to work on writing skills, but also a place to use magnetic manipulatives that will strengthen their STEM skills.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
I teach in a Head Start classroom with 18 wonderful pre-school students. Our campus has over 300 students that will benefit from this donation. We are collaborating with another teacher on campus to help bring nature and educational opportunities to our outdoor learning center.
Making mud pies and hands on play is essential for little minds to learn.
We love going on field trips to places like the pumpkin patch, zoo, nature preserve, etc... Being outdoors helps our students learn critical thinking and problem solving skills. No better place to do this than right here on our school campus.
My Project
We are so excited to add another element to our outdoor learning space. The magnetic writing center will be a great resource for multiple purposes. Because teachers need to stay organized the outdoor baskets will keep all of the fun science materials together for the students to use outdoors. There is no better way to learn than to make and create while being in nature.
Right here at school students will have opportunities to build magnetic marble mazes, participate in outdoor writing and drawing, and learn about science as teachers utilize the outdoor magnetic learning center with students.
Imagine all the different ways children will learn this this resource.
