This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students come from a community where families have limited resources. Many families live in single apartments or in an apartment with other families. While families provide a roof, love, clothing, and food for their children, there is still more that my students will need in order to access a well-rounded education.

My Project

Our students have been enjoying our online routine and they are ready to add more to it.

We would like to provide our students with equitable access to hands-on writing, science, and art lessons.

Our students can be successful in these areas but they will need a few materials. We are requesting writing cards, colored tissue paper and watercolor paints for students to develop their creativity and fine motor skills. Additionally, we would like to provide our students with magnetic wands so that they may develop observation skills in science.
