Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

The students I teach are a group of very special diverse learners. They are 3rd graders, but vary in ability from 1st to 3rd grade. They are each making progress at their own rate.

My students have disabilities that vary, but one thing they have in common is the motivation to try their very best!

They are motivated by creative teaching, the use of technology, and hands-on experiences in the classroom. They take pride in having classroom jobs and having success in their endeavors.

My Project

These Magnetic Write and Wipe boards will be used while my students are learning from home, as well as later on when we return to school. At home, students can print answers to questions and then hold their boards up to the computer screen for review. The magnetic letters will be used to help students practice reading words with similar spelling patterns.

My diverse learners benefit greatly from doing, seeing, hearing, and touching what is being taught and these items will help me provide them with what they need to be successful.
