My Students

My students are enthusiastic learners and are excited about hands-on learning experiences in science, math and language arts. They enjoy working on projects together and being supportive of each other throughout the learning process.

Science is a favorite subject for many of them and experiments provide learning experiences which make the topics stick with them.

Positive learning experiences are vital to ensuring that all students head into middle school with confidence to continue learning in the vital areas of math and science

My Project

Magnetism and Electricity are science topics in our 5th grade curriculum. Through years of use, many of the materials have been damaged or lost and it is time for a refresh of the supplies necessary for our learning laboratory activities.

New magnet sets, an electricity kit , and experiment supplies will ensure all students are able to participate fully in the curriculum experiments and that the experiments will have consistent outcomes for the students performing them.

Faulty/worn out magnets have caused disappointing results for students in the past. I can't wait to see their excitement when the new materials arrive!
