Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
This Donors Choose Project will provide my students with magnet tiles in the school counseling program. We will use these magnet tiles to help students process and gain insight into their feelings and emotions.
The magnet tiles will help facilitate social and emotional growth for students dealing with PTSD, grief, ADHD, autism, behavior challenges, self-regulation, and many other issues through play.
We use creative methods to address problems and practice solutions through creativity and play. These magnet tiles will help students face issues in a fun and productive way. My students BEAM when we work with magnet tiles. Magnet tiles are one of their favorite toys to use during small groups and individual counseling!
