My students need unique hands-on magnetic toys to introduce them to the wonderful magic of magnets in the classroom!

My Students

I Teach 4K! These students are the youngest and most eager learners of our school! They enter my classroom with great anticipation each day, hoping to get a first-hand look of what our day has in store! They have an amazing zest for learning and for exploring new and innovative activities every day! This not only makes my heart smile, but also drives me to keep on keeping on this crazy path called teaching.

I use a thematic approach to teaching my students and I create learning centers based on early childhood readiness skills.

My students learn primarily through play and hands-on activities. Our room is never quiet because I encourage the kids to use their language during their work and play.

My Project

My young learners will have an opportunity to experience the wonders Magnet Magic in small or large group play with the Magnetic Window sets as they explore and create structures in our block area! These open ended materials will align with STEM learning as they discover how to think, reconfigure and problem solve their building creations with the "positive and negative" sides of the magnetic blocks.

The donations towards this project will give my 4K students endless opportunities to discover magnet magic in our classroom and foster their creativity!

These unique and innovative learning materials are different than what my 4K students would have in their home--which draws them in! My students love to play but they also love a challenge and these magnet building materials will give them both!
