Help me give my students Magna Tiles! Magna Tiles get students using their hands to create and build with their imagination in a classroom setting! Magna Tiles are wonderful STEM tools that we will use daily in class.
We are off to such a wonderful start! I have 23 precious students that enter my room every day ready to learn and excited to see what our day will bring. First graders love hands-on activities! I have many kinesthetic learners in my class. This group of students is extremely inquisitive about STEM activities. They love sitting together and working in mall groups or pairs with an enriching activity to get our day started. First grade is a year of transition and growth. Many young learners need to manipulate objects to make their learning and exploration more concrete.
My Project
Magna Tiles will make a difference in my students learning because they will be using their STEM skills. Magna Tiles will challenge the students to push their creative thinking to create complex designs. Magna Tiles can be used for a variety of learning styles and student abilities.
Magna Tiles will also help students develop their fine motor skills.
Using the tiles to create and construct structures will challenge them both mentally and physically.
Magna Tiles will be used throughout the day in our classroom. The students will have access to the Magna Tiles to use for enrichment, STEM and inside recess.
