Magna Tiles Create Magic in Preschool

Help me give my students these MagnaTile manipulatives. These are a loved toy in our classroom and help the children with hand-eye coordination, attention, focus, and fine motor skills.

My Students

My preschool class consists of 26 young children. Our classroom is located in a pre-kindergarten through 12th grade public school in rural Nebraska.

Along with the entire world, our small school has experienced major changes in our teaching due to the current health concerns with Covid-19.

We are currently in school learning while constantly preparing to return to remote learning at any time. Currently, cases of COVID-19 continue to rise in our small community and each day we are tying to adapt to new learning situations.

Preschoolers have the most meaningful learning experiences through play, and my goal is to help these children continue to have those experiences throughout the year.

My Project

Magna Tiles are a loved toy in our preschool classroom. Children can spend hours playing with them.

Magna Tiles can help to provide children at home and in classroom experiences to further their learning development as well as create joy.

These magnetic blocks are very colorful and have magnets along their edges. Children can build homes, castles, cars, and encourage critical thinking and problem solving skills.

This year, I am constantly trying to prepare supplies for my preschool children to learn at school or in a remote at home situation. Magna Tiles would be a treasured manipulative in either situation.
