My Students

Welcome to the our classroom, the place for eighteen “beary” cute kids and two teachers who love them "beary" much! Together we form a school family that works together to grow and develop through play, the way children learn best.

Although it looks like we're just playing, the children are engaging in learning activities that are enjoyable and memorable.

Through participation in these activities and the support of quality teacher talk, the children develop the ability to get along with others, learn cognitive and language strategies and acquire the building blocks for a strong foundation for school success. Most importantly, in our classroom, there are a lot of giggles as they develop a love of learning through play.

My Project

These "Trace & Write Alphabet Centers become magical as the students place a letter card on the left side of the board, then follow the directional arrows to draw the letter with their finger on the plastic writing surface to the right. When they lift the film the letter quickly disappears! What a magical way to learn letter formation!

Learning correct letter formation is important.

When children are given adequate instruction and practice the legibility of their handwriting improves. I know my students will be encouraged to learn how to properly form letters using these hands-on writing boards with teacher instruction. These alphabet centers are reusable and will provide years of fun!
