My Students

Most of my students come from low economic homes. Last year, they were relocated for three months due to Hurricane Harvey that came to our town in Texas. I am so proud of them for staying strong, coming back and creating normalcy within our school by working together with good attitudes.

Our lessons have differentiated levels for low, medium and high learners.

We believe in working hard in a positive environment. We use alternative seating, station manipulatives, technology and different materials for creative projects.

My Project

By donating a whole learning rug for my students, they will be able to sit on a warm place on the floor to synergize.

My students can have a place to come to quickly, focus on and get to work.

Also, they can turn and talk, make plans, and use each other's expertise to help build knowledge before they go back to their tables to work independently.

You will be creating a healthy, happy environment where they can be safe to explore new things. Also, not only will you be helping them with a place to focus and get ready to work, but you will help expand their academic knowledge.
