My Students

I have not gotten the chance to meet my new little group of 2nd graders yet, but they deserve to have the classroom that will make them soar! It is a Title I school so I want to make the classroom a place where they can come and feel safe and have fun while learning. I cannot wait to meet these great 2nd graders that I am going to have for my 1st year as a teacher!

Learning is the key to the future and these kids deserve the best opportunity to do just that!

My Project

This will be a comfortable space to do read alouds and also gather for different lessons. It is not very comfortable sitting on the hard floor. We will gather to do math lessons and they will be able to come sit on the carpet to move closer to the board if they cannot see from their seats.

I want them to have a very comfortable and inviting place to learn and want to come to school where they feel their classroom is a special place to them.

Having a carpet in the class definitely makes it a more inviting place to learn than just an old tile floor. I know that these kids would be over the moon excited having this in the classroom!
