My Students

My students are the most amazing second graders ready and eager to learn. The students in my class come to me from various settings with differing background knowledge and experiences. Some of my students are English Language Learners, while others are reading well above grade level texts. All students in our class put forth their best efforts daily. All of the students in our class are capable of achieving great things when given proper materials and practice to do so.

My Project

This classroom carpet will serve as a comfortable spot for children to spread out and complete daily reading, writing, math, science, and social studies activities. Students will also use this carpet as a place to build with blocks and complete puzzles because, let's face it, children need to play!

Donations to this classroom carpet will change the learning environment in our classroom.

Students will have their own specific spot to go to, which will make them feel safe and welcomed in our room.

Students will appreciate the flexibility of this seating arrangement. Student will feel relaxed and comfortable as they work!
