Each day my students face challenges both in and out of the classroom. To help with these challenges, I am hoping to provide an environment where students feel safe, loved, and excited to learn. It is my desire to keep learning authentic and provide my students with both creative and meaningful learning experiences each day.

My Project
We are requesting a rug for our classroom to use during our whole group lessons, math group partner work, and daily 5 (read to self and read to someone) activities. My students need a comfortable carpet to invite them to learn. We spend time daily on the floor and my students would love to have a comfy space to call their own while learning and working together.
The carpet is our main gathering spot where we come together as a community to learn and work collaboratively together.
A new classroom rug will allow students to be welcomed as this is the central meeting spot in our classroom. My students will feel comfortable and will have a place to excel in their learning.
