Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

My students are passionate and energetic, and we need a great carpet to come together and learn collaboratively. Our current classroom carpet is not big enough to fit all students comfortably. We currently fit half of the class on our current carpet while other students remain at their desks. We come together as a class when we are learning as a whole group, during direct instruction for lessons in ELA, math, science, social studies, and more. This rug is also composed of squares in an array, which means we can also use it for repeated addition and multiplication assistance. Please help us create a spacious area for instruction and learning by donating a new classroom carpet!
