This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Don't make our middle school memories disappear! My students want to publish their work!

My students are mostly low income students that have little exposure to technology beyond cell phones and the power that can come from it.

They need to be able to develop skills that will help them through college and life. My students have the creativity, but need the tools to make their work come to life.

My Project

My students will be working hard throughout the school year to develop magazines using Microsoft Publisher. Each student will publish a final copy of all of their major writing assignments in a magazine format. It is a wonderful way to inspire students to care about their final copies. The only thing missing is color. As of now, their 8th grade memories are all black and white. You can help add color to their experience by donating a color printer an ink to our classroom.

Please, inspire students to delve into their writing through a memorable culminating project that they can hold on to for years to come!

They may never know who you are, but they will never forget what you have done for them.
