My Students

My 5th grade science students are extremely excited about learning science. Together we are embracing the student led classroom where the teacher takes a step back and allows the students to collaboratively learn and explore new concepts. Our Intermediate campus is located in a rural community in a small East Texas city. This is the first time these student will experience science in a lab setting on a daily basis and take the Science STAAR test. My students are UNSTOPPABLE!

My Project

My 5th grade students this year are very excited to learn science in a student led learning classroom/lab environment. They are embracing this concept with open arms and minds. Every student has come on board with this learning concept and are eager to enter our lab each day.

As their science teacher, I need to find innovative methods to keep my students motivated and focused on learning, by having them investigating and experimenting in all areas of science.

My Students would greatly benefit from having a lab coat to truly feel like a scientist in their daily investigations and experiments.
