My Students

My students are the most curious, intrigued, entry-level programmer-type students that you will ever meet. They come to school smiling, ready to take on the challenges of the day. They have to work hard. Many of them are second language learners. All of my students qualify for free breakfast and lunch, and once a month, Second Harvest brings my children nourishing fruits and vegetables. Life is not easy for them, but nothing is going to stop them from learning and being the best they can be.

My Project

The National Science Teachers Association Conference theme is “Elevating Science: Digging Deeper” it will provide training's that will help me to develop the next generation of scientists, engineers, and other STEM professionals.

The conference prepares participants comprehensive professional learning around the new standards and supports the design and implementation of three-dimensional units of instruction.

This training will allow will help me gain a deeper understanding of the three-dimensions, phenomena and the development of storylines. Additionally, it will give me the skills to help facilitate the learning of others. This training is designed to help teachers provide an excellent K-12 SCIENCE education.
