My Students

Have you ever seen a child who has ignited his/her love for Language Arts? Our students have not had the chance to discover this amazing experience.

The majority of these children are from low socioeconomic backgrounds.

They are struggling with being provided with basic necessities in their daily lives. Seventy percent of our students receive free or reduced-priced lunches, but we have the privilege of implementing a 1:1 MacBook initiative.

My Project

In our small town in Alabama, unfortunately we have experienced many small businesses closing their doors. There are no incentives for industries to take root in our town. With the implementation of IXL Language Arts and Math, our students will be actively engaged in the curriculum.

Although these students are from a privileged school, they are still at risk of falling between the cracks.

By being able to access this program, the students will gain the momentum and drive to experience success in school as well as daily life.
