This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students walk into the classroom full of life and excited for learning. I work hard to deliver my best to my students and they always meet or exceed my expectations of them. They amaze me!

I teach at a diverse Title I school in South Phoenix where the majority of our students receive free breakfast and lunch.

Many of the students face hardships in both their personal lives and on campus, but despite the hardships, they always work hard and have a growth mindset for being successful in life.

My Project

The use of technology is almost a daily must in the classroom, especially in a Science academy. Having a laptop that students can share/use for presentations and videos that they’ve created on their iPhones or iPads would take their creativity to the next level. By using this Mac, students will be able to upload files, transfer files, and create media content with apps they are already familiar with further engaging students in the classroom. This simple device is a bridge that can transform standard projects to extraordinary ones.

By donating to our project, you will not only help improve and increase student attention and focus, you will ultimately help increase their academic achievement.

Plus, in this technology literate world, any interaction with updated technology will increase their literacy as well as their desire to learn and use the new technology.
