My Students

Change is coming and textbooks are slowly being phased out with the creation of eBooks. With electronic books, students are able to take notes, highlight passages, and even have the books read to them.

I teach 7th grade science students in a suburban school in Pennsylvania.

They love hands-on, project-based learning, which is exactly what this project would bring to them. The students love to try new things, especially when it comes to technology in the classroom.

My Project

My students love hands-on projects that increase their learning. With this donation, my students will not only be able to create eBooks for projects in my classroom, but would be able to begin a community outreach project. Certain organizations in our area have printed resources that we would be able to make into interactive eBooks for them. This would be another great application that we could use this donation for.

With the donation of a Mac Mini computer, you will bring the opportunity to my students that will allow them to create, compose, and write ebooks in the classroom.

This will boost the type of projects that my students will be able to make to show me what they have learned in the units that I teach.
