This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
My students are unique and come to the classroom with tons of energy and creative ideas that makes for a stimulating classroom. Many of my students come from a community that is filled with many social and family impediments. Many times my classroom is the only haven in which students can be expressive of their inner most thoughts and artistic expression.
I teach at a Title 1 school in Washington, D.C where 100% of my students receive free breakfast and lunch.
My Project
My students need a Mac Book Pro in order to conduct research. Students learn about technology and it is essential to give them up to date opportunities to acquire new knowledge. They learn quickly when provided with the right tools and the Mac Book Pro will give them a way to develop what they already know. The Mac Book Pro will make such a difference in the lives of my students in all subjects especially Math and Science. They will be able to do extensive research.
Mac Book Pro is light making it easier to move around the classroom and can do many things.
Students will be able to explore assignments through touch, sound, and motion. Students learn in many different ways.The Mac Book Pro will excite, engage, and enlighten my students and I am extremely excited for the various opportunities it will bring them.
