Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

My students are funny and love life. They enjoy working together and sharing ideas. We are a close-knit community. My class is the state-mandated Respond to Intervention and Instruction. At times, they need to be motivated and experience opportunities for success. This project will help with reinforcing the middle school Common Core Standards and give students an opportunity to cook in the classroom.

My students enjoy expressing themselves and sharing ideas.

Upon completing a survey with my students, over 80% expressed an interest in technology that includes shopping online, video gaming, exploring careers in technology, entrepreneurship, and engineering. They also enjoy completing assignments and educational games that include Kahoot and Gimkit.

My Project

This laptop will make a tremendous difference for my students, in that it will expose them to Apple technology in the school. Students will be able to create meaningful projects using the various applications that include iMovie and Garage Band. We can also communicate with our iPad and iPhone. There are several books and applications and programs that will help my special need students

Help me give my students an opportunity to be engaged with Apple technology.

This project is needed to help prepare my students for the future. I want to help my special need students with programs created specifically created by Apple. This computer will also help my students by providing real world experiences that will cause them to think critically. With your donation, you will assist in helping me and my students strive for excellence.
