My Students

Our school is located in a quiet, residential neighborhood in the City by the Bay. Approximately half of our school's student population participates in the free or reduced-price lunch program.

Library lessons are meaningful, creative, fun, and interesting for ALL students.

Many of the students who attend our school are the children of new immigrants, so they are mainly English language learners.

All of the students at our school love the time that they spend in our school library. During library time, they read, we have creativity stations, we listen to stories online, or watch videos related to the theme of the week.

My Project

My students are obsessed with origami paper projects! I have been able to order a variety of origami books for them to borrow and to use during their library visits.

We are down to our last pack of origami paper in the library and desperately need more to get us through the rest of the school year.

Your donation will enable my students to continue with their projects when they come for their weekly library visits. My circulation desk has become a gallery for all their creations-- from cranes to dogs to french fries!
