My Students
My students come in with a desire to learn! However, nestled in Adams County, they battle poverty and the opioid epidemic. Many of my students spend so much time caring for siblings. They deserve a fun learning environment that not only helps them learn, but gives them a chance to breathe and be a kid for just a moment in their day.
My Project
Worksheet after worksheet after worksheet...who wants that? What 3rd grader wants to have to do multiple worksheets a day? Help me make math fun again! Help me instill the love of math in my students! Help me make it interesting so they can see how math relates to the real world! No more of the “When will I use this?” question.
My learners come from economically disadvantaged homes. They’re already at a disadvantage when it comes to learning because of this. Help me help them with materials that I can utilize to close the gap!
