My Project

Social Emotional learning is a huge part of a student's health and well being. As the reading and writing improvement teacher, I want to be sure my students know that I am not only available to teach them academics when they are struggling, but I am here to support all aspects of their lives. I have begun taking a different group of students weekly for a lunch bunch.

I'm not "teaching" them, but just snacking and chatting about life.

We chat about their lifegoals, their struggles, things they love and things they wish were different. With the weather beginning to change, it would be so nice to add some vitamin D to our lunch bunch. This table and chair set would allow us to make our own little patio outside in our courtyard. The snacks and silverware will ensure the students don't have to worry about remembering to bring their own.
