This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

We just finished our unit on light. We will now investigate how light interacts with the moon and how seasons are created.

Having our very own moon will add to the ambiance of being in outer space.

This particular moon has the ability to switch to different phases of the moon. We can light up our room as we rotate through the 12 lunar phases of the moon. Crescent moon, half moon, full moon—which phase will we choose?

The projector will be used to create an outer space feeling with stars glowing on our classroom ceiling.
