My Students

My students come from poverty-stricken backgrounds, but have a strong desire to succeed.

At this time our school qualifies for 100% free breakfast and lunch.

Each day brings new challenges for my students. These may be as simple as having clean clothes, or as complex as where they will sleep at night. With this said, my students always come to class with a positive attitude and ready to learn. They are eager to help each other be the best they can be in all areas. My students strive to be leaders in their community.

My Project

My students are excited to learn about science and social studies. The Let’s Find Out magazines will give them a perfect opportunity to explore and expand their knowledge, vocabulary, and comprehension skills in these content areas in a thoughtful and engaging manner.

The online component will enhance my students technology Skills.

Your donation will allow my students to have daily discussions about concepts we are learning.

The let’s Find Out magazine will be used as a resource when creating projects in both areas. These magazines will also provide other opportunity to develop their reading, writing, communication, comprehension, computer, and creativity skills.
