My students need 1 Wobble Chair, 2 Zenergy Ball Chairs, 1 StayN Place Ball, Spa Stools, 1 Swivel Chair, a cafe table, and 2 black stools to help them be more focused and better learners in our classroom.
At our school, we have around 400 students. Many are open enrolled (around 13%). They choose to come to our school because it has a wonderful reputation. 46% of the student population is economically disadvantaged, almost 23% of the population are students with disabilities and about 8% of students have limited English proficiency. Our students are amazing and wonderful. They show huge growth. Their hard work and determination have helped us earn an amazing 5-star rating on the state report card and we are a Blue Ribbon School.
My Project
We are looking for a Wobble Chair, Zenergy Ball Chairs, a StayN Place Ball, Spa Stools, a Swivel Chair, a cafe table, and black stools so that our classroom has several choices for best learning.
With the seating I have selected, students will have many options for seating in our room.
I have seen what a difference choice makes in the classroom. Kids like learning and are more engaged when there are seating options. I have seen students so much more focused when they have a choice where they sit. The kids are learning what kind of seating works for them. They are learning to advocate for themselves and what is the best seating for them. Our days stay fresh when there are lots of choices of where and how to sit.
