This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
We are a Title I Pre-K program located in a public school in North Carolina. My students are curios, loving, thoughtful and full of energy. They love learning through play in gross and fine motor activities. My class consists of seven girls and three boys. They enjoy writing and learning about letters and numbers. They learn best with hands-on experiences.
My Project
My students enjoy our outdoor environment, especially running, playing, hula hoops and games with the teacher. They often ask when can we get tricycles of our own. This will be a great addition to our outdoor learning environment and also help develop their gross motor riding skills. I know my students will enjoy riding and creating their own games uisng the tricycles daily. This addiditon would be great for my students and they can learn to ride their first tricycle due to many not having one at home at this age.
