My Project
I have been accepted into the Limited Resource Teacher Training fellowship in Uganda for the month of June and am looking for funding to cover some of the costs. I will be assisting teachers through shared learning, observations, workshops, and professional developments to help improve education in Uganda.
Through the fellowship, I will be helping teachers come up with new ways to improve student learning.
We will be covering how to create safe environments within the classroom, how to make content accessible to all students, create interactive learning, and regular assessments to collect data to increase student education. I am excited to collaborate with teachers in Uganda and find the best practices to support student learning!
I am looking forward to learning new strategies from the teachers in Uganda the I will be able to bring back to my own classroom here in the United States. I also look forward to hearing about their varied and diverse experiences and know that the relationships I develop with them will also teach me a lot and make me a better teacher. I will be able to improve my classroom from this fellowship by creating a classroom full of culturally responsive students.
