LPA is full of amazing young leaders! We are a diverse school of K-8th graders from across urban St. Louis. In a city that often comes with negative challenges, these students are driven to succeed.

Many of our students face many challenges day-to-day, including limited resources, but they come to school ready to "love and learn."
We are hard at work making great academic growth and creating amazing student projects. Our students inspire me everyday. We love LPA!
My Project
Our leaders need your help! At LPA, the Student Council has taken on the recess bags project for K-4 grade levels. Due to construction, we are currently unable to utilize our playground space and are utilizing a public park for recess. There is a large field space for use but we are lacking equipment for fun and inclusive play options. Recess and freeplay are important parts of the learning experience for our students.
The LPA Student Council wants to make sure every student feels included at recess and we believe these new activities will help make that happen.
Our students have big dreams! Creating recess bags for grade levels K-4 is an ambitious goal, and we are asking for donations to make this goal achievable. The Student Council has raised enough money to purchase some of the initial equipment and to maintain the bags. The Student Council will continue to fundraise, but we are asking for your support to have the bags up and running for the start of the year.
