My students need a Lenovo IBook to help enhance their learning through access to technology.

I teach in a title-1 school. Which means we have a high population of economically disadvantaged students. Our school receives 100% free lunch/breakfast for all students. Our school also has a high population of military families. Even though they may not have as much as other children this does not keep them from showing the amazing smart children they are!
You can teach a student a lesson for a day, but if you can teach him to learn by creating curiosity, he will continue the learning process as long as he lives.
This holds true to my group of kiddos. I teach an inquisitive group of kids who are always trying to learn more about the world around them. They love science, reading, and using technology to learn with. My students turn everything into a lesson without being asked and are eager to share their findings. I am truly grateful to have such a great group of babies.
My students are always looking for new and exciting ways to display and show their work. They want to record themselves and make digital presentations, but access to devices that could help make their creativity excel are often few and far between. The Lenovo Yoga I-Book would help my student be able to creatively create and display their work through digital presentations. They would also be able to lessen their impact on the environment because it would help us use less paper and there by reducing our physical footprint.
We want children to feel confident, excited and eager to play, explore and learn as they interact with technology.
The Lenovo Yoga I-Book would do just that for my students. They would be able to draw their learning and make meaningful digital documents to place in their digital portfolio's and those who excel artistically would be able to display their work for not just our class but other's to see digitally.
