This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I have a class full of curious and loving kindergartners who are eager to come to learn. The majority of my students receive free or reduced-price lunch. I would love for my students to be able to have fun and learn without having to worry whether mom or dad is able to get the materials they need.

My students are in need of basic supplies such as crayons, paper, dry erase markers, sheet protectors, notebooks, and construction paper.

Having these supplies will allow each student to have their own materials in order to become successful in the classroom.

Due to this pandemic, many parents have lost their jobs and are unable to provide basic supplies for their children. Year after year I purchase supplies for my students, this year was extra hard for me to provide all the supplies needed so the students could each have their own supplies. With your help, I will be able to provide basic supplies to my students and lift that burden off the children’s minds. These supplies will make a huge difference in my students' learning. It will help them become successful in the classroom while having fun.
