My Students

Students in my classroom need to hear fluent readers read. Unfortunately my school doesn't have the technology to get kids to listen to audio books.

My kids are in a school that is in rural Indiana.

We are a PreK - 6th grade building consisting of a little over 500 kids. We love learning and getting new opportunities to learn in different ways. I have a classroom full of eager readers who are in need of something more than just the reading book to read.

We love learning and getting new opportunities to learn in different ways. I have a classroom full of eager readers who are in need of something more than just the reading book to read. A Kindle Fire will allow the kids to listen to audio books and make reading come alive for many different genres of reading!

Listening to fluent readers will help my kids read fluently.

Many kids are not read to anymore at home and kids are growing up with this vital loss in their lives. Hearing someone read helps them hear what a good reader does. I know by them listening to audio books will help them be a better, more fluent reader.
