Help me give my students hands on learning experiences with this AMAZING software from the Osmos company! We have 2 bases and 3 games but would love to have more! Any donation is appreciated!!
We are a wonderful and energetic group of Kindergartners from Edmond, Oklahoma. Coming to school each day is a fun adventure! We love to write about our time with friends and family. We love Pokemon, Mine craft, Legos, blocks, games, and dinosaurs. Our favorite books are Pig the Pug, Pete the Cat, and Elephant and Piggie. We have been working hard this year to learn our letters and numbers. We are becoming creative thinkers! We have the best parents! We are proud to be Antlers!
My Project
My students love to learn! They also love using our classroom iPads! When I introduced the Osmo Learning Game System to my students, there was a rumble of excitement! I could see Kindergartners engaged as I explained the games. The Osmo company does a magnificent job creating enriching games that both encourage and challenge the student to manipulate the letter, number, or tangram tiles while learning important literacy and math skills.
After using the games the past three weeks, I soon realized that we needed more materials.
We currently have two bases and 3 game kits. This means only 4 students can enjoy two games in a setting (two students per base). I am asking for your help! I would love to add more bases and game kits so all of my students can enjoy this fun, interactive gaming system during a center rotation. We have Literacy and Math Centers 4 times a week and I know that my students would love to have more opportunities to play each week. We will also be adding a coding game as well.
