My Students

Take a walk into my classroom and you will see the most eager, intelligent fourth graders you could ever imagine!

My students are curious, active, and always keep me on my toes!

They love learning and always give me their all. Most importantly we are a family and we always take care of each other. No matter the circumstances we know that we are better together! As their teacher, I strive to make learning intentional but FUN! I want school to be the place to be - not the place kids have to be!

My Project

Educators at The Ron Clark Academy: Susan Barnes, Pamela Haskins, Dr. Camille Jones, Junior Bernadin, are offering a professional development experience that delves into creating a school culture that promotes understanding the intersectionality of race and culture.

Through meaningful discussions I will gain a deeper understanding of how to support diverse students while avoiding words, deeds, and even lessons that could inadvertently be deemed inappropriate or offensive.

In order to best serve my students I need the right tools to reach them. This class gives me the opportunity for open and honest conversations about race and culture in order to learn best practices that support the WHOLE child!
